Individual and Relationship Therapeutic Services
Welcome; I’m glad you’re here.
It’s hard to ask for help. It’s hard to find help. My goal is to support you in finding what you need to be successful in a therapeutic space.
About Me
My Approach
Hello, Traveler! I use trauma informed therapy to work collaboratively with my clients to identify and strengthen motivation for and capacity to change. Therapy can help you learn ways to be more effective in moving forward. While our inner experience as well as the world outside of us help shape who we are, they do not define who we can be. By working together, we identify tools, skills, and ways to challenge belief systems in order to move toward a more meaningful life. My therapeutic style is warm, direct, and non-judgmental. I am happy to meet with you for a free 20 minute consultation to see if we would be a good fit.
Professional Background
I graduated from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Counseling and Education in 2009, with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and certifications in Addictions and Eating Disorder Treatment. I have worked in community mental health, residential treatment, crisis support, clinical review, and outpatient therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and am supervised by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. In my previous life, I worked in Behavioral Neuroscience Research and as an EMT.
